The Yoda illustration came about when I reviewed all of the character cap artwork I have done over the years that required me to have to recreate characters to make the product feel more like the character. Why let those simple vectors go to waste when they could be the bases of some fun illustrations?
Here Yoda's little green head floating above the ghostly lineart I create for the Yoda 59Fifty Character cap for Lucas Film and New Era Cap.

Of Note: There was an original Yoda cap that came out of the Japan office of New Era Cap, but the fabrication wasn't up to what the Entertainment Licenses Division at HQ had developed. The updated cap request allowed me to go back in and redo the art entirely.
